    In 1978, James Dyson started tinkering around with vacuum cleaners, and the world of housecleaning changed forever. Sir James is now a household name, and his flagship product is the Dyson DC65 Animal (MSRP $599.99) a bagless, upright vacuum that rolls around atop a convenient, swivelling ball.

 

    The handle of the DC65 is extendible by way of a hose; and thus, ideally for vacuuming staircases, stairwells or spots that are difficult to reach.

 

    Included is also the Tangle-Free Turbine Tool that has counter-rotating heads with brushes to remove hair and dirt - no brush bar for hair to wrap around, it releases more hair straight into the bin, has constant contact on uneven surfaces - flexible heads bend to maintain contact across uneven surfaces. Edge‐to‐edge coverage - the heads are positioned so the brushes reach to the front and sides of the tool, drawing in hair and dirt from all directions.
